Tips for Summer Car Care
- Air Conditioning - A marginally operating system will fail in hot weather. Have the system examined by a qualified technician.
- Oil - Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual --more often (every 3,000 miles or so) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage, or tow a trailer.
- Windshield Wipers - A dirty windshield causes eye fatigue and can pose a safety hazard. Replace worn blades and get plenty of windshield washer solvent.

Best Barbecue Ribs

• 3 pork rib racks
• 1 (24 ounce) bottle of KC Masterpiece Original barbecue sauce
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons Essence of Emeril
• 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
• 1 tablespoon paprika and 1 tablespoon cumin
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Mix brown sugar, Emeril's Essence, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, garlic and cayenne pepper thoroughly, and sprinkle on both sides of ribs to taste.
- For grilling, carefully wrap in aluminum foil and cook bone side down approximately 1 1/2 hours on low temperature.
- No need to turn.
- After ribs become tender, remove from foil and continue cooking on both sides to desired crispness.
- Apply BBQ sauce liberally to both sides and allow approximately 10 minutes for BBQ sauce to carmelize.
- Brush a second time if desired, and allow to carmelize.
- Remove from grill and enjoy!
